Mocktail – Faux-jito

All of us with liver concerns know to omit alcohol completely, but this can be difficult when it comes to parties and other social functions. To avoid being tempted by a cocktail, try this “mocktail” with the great refreshing flavors of a mojito – a summertime favorite.
Ingredients
- 11 fresh mint leaves
- 3 lime slices
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Ice
- 6 ounces soda water or seltzer water (try lime flavored!)
Directions
- Add mint leaves and lime to a tall glass and muddle with a spoon to mash the lime and mint, about one minute.
- Add honey, ice, and soda water/seltzer. Stir to combine.
- Garnish with lime and mint.
